Deep air conditioner cleaning
The indoor unit comes off the wall; the heat exchanger and blower wheel are pressure-washed.
Deep cleaning is the only air conditioner cleaning we do, and it is always the full treatment: the indoor unit comes off the wall, and the heat exchanger and blower wheel are pressure-washed. The reason is that the dust behind the smell does not sit on the surface. It compacts between the fins of the heat exchanger and inside the blades of the blower wheel, where neither a brush nor an angled jet can reach. While the unit hangs on the wall, that part stays out of reach.

Signs the unit needs it
- a musty smell on start-up that airing the room does not clear
- rinsing the filters yourself no longer makes any difference
- dense dark deposits are visible on the blower blades
- cooling is noticeably worse on otherwise healthy equipment
- the unit has not been cleaned for several years, or nobody remembers
- the flat was rented out and nothing is known about past servicing
What the work involves
- the indoor unit is removed from the wall
- the heat exchanger is pressure-washed, fin by fin
- the blower wheel is cleaned along the full length of the blades
- the drain line is flushed end to end
- the housing and louvres are washed away from the unit
- the unit is reassembled, then the cooling and the drainage are checked
- the time it takes is already built into the slot you book
Electricity and the air conditioner
The air conditioner must be fully disconnected from power before cleaning. If there is no separate isolator or the correct circuit breaker is unknown, our team may, with your permission, briefly test a limited number of circuit breakers one at a time. We will notify you beforehand so you can save your work and safely shut down sensitive equipment. We do not open electrical panels or perform wiring work. If the air conditioner cannot be safely isolated, we will discuss the available options before starting the cleaning.
Limits
- deep cleaning does not revive a failed compressor or control board
- we do not recharge refrigerant
- if we find damage while removing the unit we stop and show it to you before going on

The price is based on the selected services and the conditions provided. We may request photos or videos before the appointment to confirm the scope of work. If we discover something during the online consultation or initial inspection that could not reasonably be identified earlier, we will explain it and agree on any changes before proceeding. No additional work or price change is made without the client’s approval.
