Casitio is a small workshop working in Montevideo. We do two things: design and print in plastic the part someone needs and cannot find, and keep the ones we get asked for often ready to go. It is for anyone with something broken, an awkward gap to fill, or an idea that does not exist on a shelf yet.
Two ways to ask us for something
Printing to order
Describe the problem with a photo or a few measurements, and we draw it and print it. It works for a spare nobody makes any more just as well as for something that never existed.
Store
Parts and products that are already designed, with a published price. You pick one, we print it and bring it over, with no design wait.
How we work

A photo of the part next to a ruler or a coin is enough to start. If you already have the file, better still.
See the price
The estimator gives you a range before any conversation starts. The exact figure is confirmed once we have looked at the file.
We pick a material and print
The plastic is chosen for where the part will live, and the part is checked by hand before it leaves the workshop.
You get it
We arrange handover in Montevideo. If it does not fit the way you expected, the model is corrected and printed again.

Built to the size you actually have
We work from the gap in front of you rather than the one in a catalogue. A part that is two millimetres out is a part that does not fit.
The plastic is chosen, not assumed
There is no good plastic and bad plastic. One suits sunlight, another humidity, another the places where a part has to give instead of snapping. We ask where the part will work because that is where the answer comes from.
Your file stays in your browser
The estimator measures the model on your own computer. What reaches us is a handful of dimensions, not the file. You send the model yourself, when you decide to place the order.
Worth knowing first
We would rather say this here than after you have paid:
- Each print comes out in one colour and one material. Anything two-toned is solved by assembling it from pieces.
- Large parts are printed in sections and bonded. The joint is planned into the design rather than improvised at the end.
- We choose to stay with things around the home and the desk: spares, brackets, organisers, adapters. We do not make parts for food or medical use, parts that carry a person’s weight, or parts that go into a vehicle.
- Lead times are confirmed when we take the job, once we know what is already in the queue. We never promise a part for the same day.
